Had a ‘great’ thought walking into work today…

The nature of our collective reliance on the internet  for enterprise process management   (SAP, Oracle, Salesforce et al.) and growing deluge of personal identity-management services: (Not just Facebook, Bebo and the rest, but also Tim Ilube’s new QDOS service) means that the internet is going to need to morph into a new form of global infrastructure with much higher levels of ‘federation’ and redundancy…

My wizard idea, halfway between Charing Cross and Percy Street was to coin this web 4.0 backbone as the ‘infranet’… beyond quad-play; Wireless VPNs and the rest… and get the big networks to start thinking about the implications…

As ever, I’m just too late.
